What are corns?
Corns are small patch of thickened skin with or without pain commonly seen in areas exposed to repeated friction and/or pressure, like hands and feet. These are also known as callosities or clavus. Corns are collection of dead skin cells which have a very hard centre. Corns often occur on bony prominence of hands and feet such as tops or sides of toe as there's a lack of natural cushion.
There are high chances of reoccurrence.
